Polish Orange Milk Mushroom & Spinach Pasta



PREP TIME: 25 min

NEED: pot for pasta, wok or large pan


  1. 250g pasta
  2. 100g (medium) onion, chopped
  3. 2 garlic gloves, sliced
  4. 200g fresh spinach
  5. 200g wild orange milk mushroom, cleaned (see here)
  6. 1 tbsp clarified butter
  7. 1/2 cup 30% fat cream
  8. pinch of salt and pepper to taste


  1. Cook pasta according to directions
  2. Melt butter, add onion, garlic, fry on low/medium heat for 5 min
  3. Add spinach and mushroom, keep low/medium hear for 7 min
  4. Add cream, salt, pepper and bring to boil, keep on low heat for 2 min
  5. Add pasta, and keep on low heat for 1-2 min
  6. Serve – you can add basil or sprinkle with chives
